What’ Is Arm Aesthetics?

The arm aesthetic is a process called arm tensioning surgery or Brakioplasty, to correct the sagging appearance on the upper part of the arm. Weight change, the skin is genetically prone to sagging and the skin loses elasticity with age, resulting in droplings in the lower and rear of the upper arm.

Especially when individuals raise their arms, there is significant droop. In order to recover tissue from this area, the arm esthetic is applied.

How Is Arm Aesthetics Performed?

The arm esthetic is usually performed under general anesthesia and takes about 1–3 hours. The surgical monk is selected under the armpit or from an invisible part of the body, preventing a disturbing appearance.

During the operation, excess skin is removed from the area and sewn up with a re-tension. If there is too much fat in the area, this tissue is thrown out by liposuction technique.

This gives the arm an esthetic, flat and youthful look.

What Is The Post-Arm Aesthetic Process?

A special corset must be used for approximately 21–30 days after arm esthetics. This corset allows the skin to collect and hold more comfortably to the body, reducing recovery time.

In the case of more minimal operations covered by local anesthesia, individuals who are operated on general anesthesia may be discharged within the same day, but individuals who are operated on may need to remain in the hospital for 1 day. In some people, only liposuction technique can eliminate the problem.

The first days should be avoided from physical activity and especially actions that will strain the arms and should be given plenty of rest.

The day of the transaction and the day after the treatment should be avoided from smoking consumption and alcohol consumption a few days before and after the treatment. Alcohol can cause complications because it dilates the blood and increases the edema. Therefore, any type of food with blood watering capability including alcohol should be restricted and should first consult with the individual physicians in cases requiring drug intake.

After the first 48 after the operation has been passed, the bathroom can be taken with a record of not being too hot.

Since self-melting stitching will be used during the treatment, it is not necessary for people to contact the hospital to get stitches afterwards.

Individuals need to pay attention to their weight so that they do not experience the problem of re-drooling and oiling. The result of the operation could be permanent.
